How does the volume control work with CROS?

How does the volume control work with CROS?
The volume control on the CROS adjusts the transmitted sound only. The volume control on the receiving hearing aid (DREAM 9 or FASHION) will adjust the hearing aid volume in a BI-CROS fitting but is disabled in CROS fitting as the hearing aid microphones would be disabled.
